Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® started in 2011 in answer to requests from youth soccer teams in New Jersey that wanted to show their commitment to the fight against pediatric cancer. Today, teams across the country representing every sport from youth to professional have Laced Up in Go4theGoal’s GOLD laces.
$4.00 from every pair of $5.00 laces plus 100% of donations go back to helping kids with cancer and their families in the state the funds are raised. We offer three options for acquiring the laces:
- Earn the laces for free. Participate in our online fundraising program at Donate.Go4theGoal.org. We’ll send you the laces and provide instructions to set up a team page. Milestones will earn you free laces and gear.
- Purchase the laces from our shop.
- If your school can provide a purchase order, we can send you the laces on invoice.

We are so blessed to do what we love at Duke and are always looking for ways we can extend help to those in our community as well bring awareness to great causes. Go4theGoal is a great way for us to play a small part in the fight against pediatric cancer. We love that our players are able to raise funds for the cause and demonstrate their support tangibly with the laces that bring attention to the cause.
I have worked with Go4theGoal over the past five years by first getting the high school soccer team I coach involved in their Lace Up campaign and that relationship has now developed into a full fledged charity event that now includes 10-12 teams from our conference. They make getting involved so easy and so rewarding. I will be forever grateful for their partnership. Regardless of the type of season we are having, good or bad, regardless of the individual outcomes of games, our work together has always been a silver lining to what can sometimes be a difficult and tiring season. Their platform is simple to use in both collecting donations and tracking progress.
