Hospital & Research Grants

Hospital Grants

During cancer treatments, children and their families spend an inordinate amount of time in the hospital. Go4theGoal provides grants to fund programs and renovations that improve their hospital environments and the services available to them to make the time spent there less stressful. Past grants have included funding for technology boosts, renovations of infusion clinics/media rooms/teen spaces/and palliative care suites. Go4theGoal also funds bereavement programs, survivor celebrations, family support groups, psychosocial programs, and much more.

In 2016, Go4theGoal completed a $350,000.00 renovation of the infusion clinic at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, encompassing the waiting room, reception desk, play area, infusion clinic, and a new teen lounge!

"This project has infused new life into our old, worn out space and makes it a pleasure to come to work. Many of our families have noted how special Go4theGoal has made them feel by giving them such an amazing area where they and their children spend so much time. We will be forever grateful!"

- Margaret Mulherin, Pediatric Oncology Clinical Care Coordinator at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children"
