Family Financial Support

One of G4G's primary objectives is to assist families with their financial burdens so they may concentrate on their child's needs while undergoing treatment. Through referrals by hospital social workers, we help families with their travel, lodging and household expenses. We also provide tuition assistance to enrichment activities, such as summer camp, music lessons, sports programs and other activities that benefit both the child and their immediate family. Grant Special Wishes

Go4theGoal is contacted by social workers and hospital staff with special requests by their patients every day. We are proud to grant many of these special wishes very quickly - sometimes within 24 hrs. We have hosted parties and special events, sent kids, their friends & families on all-expense-paid Vacations, to Professional Sports Events and Concerts, often complete with special VIP Status and a chance to meet their favorite celebrity!

Hospital and G4G Grants

G4G provides educational tools and entertaining items, such as portable Apple iPad Carts, MacBook Computers, iTouch & iPods loaded with age-appropriate music and Game Consoles & games directly to pediatric oncology departments, which helps the medical staff distract their patients while undergoing treatment. These electronics also help kids stay in contact with their friends and family members and keep up with their education during their stay in the hospital or clinic.

Holiday Gift Basket Program

The G4G Holiday Gift Basket Program was launched during the 2006 Holiday Season at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Hackensack University Medical Center as a way of bringing gifts and smiles to the faces of kids stuck in the hospital over the Holidays.  Now in its 5th year, this program is now celebrated in over 20 hospitals and medical centers throughout the nation. Each Gift Basket is stuffed with age-appropriate items and personally delivered to the kids by the Stefanacci Family and lots of volunteers. Research Grants

Always keeping the ultimate goal of finding a cure for all types of pediatric cancer in mind, Go4theGoal Foundation has awarded over $500,000 in grants to fund innovative research teams, including that of Dr. Jeffrey Toretsky at the Toretsky Uren Laboratory at Georgetown University Medical Center and Dr. Elizabeth Lawlor at the University of Michigan.
