G4G Awards $90k Grant to Rising Star in Ewing's Research |

12/08/10 - Dr. Beth Lawlor MD, PHD, and her team at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Department of Pediatrics and Pathology, focus their studies on Ewing Sarcoma cancer biology that are most likely to translate into novel therapies – particularly if laboratory models can closely mimic the biologic features of the tumor as it exists in the human patient. Only until recently, and through the support of Go4theGoal, is securing the innovative equipment necessary to conduct this research being made possible at the University of Michigan. The possibilities of these new observations has profound implications for cancer cell research. Dr. Lawlor is a current recipient of the prestigious Stand Up To Cancer Innovative Research Grant and is recognized as a national leader is Ewing Sarcoma research.
